There was a moment in my childhood that left a lasting impact on my life. One day, I found myself trapped in a dark elevator for hours during a power outage. The feeling of being stuck, struggling to breathe, and unable to escape planted the seed of claustrophobia in me, casting a shadow over my adult life.
It’s fascinating how one seemingly insignificant event can leave such a lasting mark, right? From driving through long tunnels to struggling with my breath at night due to the fear of darkness, anxiety became my unwelcome companion.
For years, I tried to push through, hide, and control my fear. But none of that truly worked. It wasn’t until I started learning about mindfulness, awareness, and acceptance that my perspective began to shift.
But that wasn’t the only battle I faced…
Growing up in a culture that didn’t value individualism, authenticity, and personal expression, I also grappled with social anxiety, especially when it came to public speaking.
Determined to break free from the grip of anxiety, I embarked on a journey of self-discovery and healing. Through years of exploration and personal transformation, I discovered holistic approaches to healing that not only transcended anxiety but transformed my entire perspective on life.
